Dr. Teshome Emana, who will stay in Japan from October 2019 to January 2020 as a visiting professor, has arrived in Japan safely on September 26, 2019. He is a Head and Assitant Professor at Department of Social Anthropology, Addis Ababa University.
He has visited Japan last January for the international conference, and it is his second time to visit and also his first time to stay for a relatively long period. He will teach two classes at TUFS: one is for undergraduate students, and the other is for graduate students. We hope that he can build networks with Africanist in Japan through seminars and research meetings, and we will also try to broaden our possibilities for joint research programs and so on.
