Director and Deputy Director of Manggha, Poland, Visit TUFS

 On November 15th, TUFS president Hirotaka Tateishi received a courtesy visit from Bogna Dziechciaruk-Maj, Director of the Muesum of Japanese Art and Technology (Manggha), and Katarzyna Nowak, Deputy Director of Manggha. The two executives also had a brief meeting which TUFS Executive Director Koji Miyazaki and Associate Professor Koji Morita (Polish Studies) took part in.
 Their visit coincided with an international symposium, “Japanese Home in Kraków” and its associated event, “Poster Exhibition “Japanese Home in Kraków”: the 20th Anniversary of Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in TUFS” The meeting was fruitful and meaningful for both sides; Dziechciaruk-Maj talked about the establishment background of the museum and Tateishi asked about the origin of the museum’s name.
