TUFS Students Win First Prize at Vietnam Speech Contest at Kanda University of International Studies

On Saturday, November 8th, TUFS students performed well at the 8th Vietnam Speech Contest hosted by the Kanda University of International Studies. Three students participated in three categories and placed first respectively for two years running.
Aki Ishimae (sophomore, School of Language and Culture) was in Category B, which is for sophomores; Kaishi Sakuma (Junior, Faculty of Foreign Studies) was in Category C, for juniors and seniors without overseas experience; and Hiroshi Yoshida(freshman, School of International and Area Studies) was in Category E, for studnets with a Vietnamese parent. The students placed first in all three categories, making for another strong showing for TUFS.
