Opening Ceremony of Short Stay Winter Program 2015 Held on Jan. 7th

On January 7th, the opening ceremony of the Short Stay Winter Program took place at Sakura Hall in the Japanese Language Center for International Student.
Started in 2012, this winter program has been held every year. 

This year, 24 students from the University of Melbourne, Australian National University, the University of Auckland, Victoria University of Wellington, and National Taiwan Normal University visited TUFS and took part in this four-week program.
On the first day of the program, the students attended the opening ceremony, a welcome party and a campus tour. From the second day to the last day, many events are scheduled: an observation of Japanese language classes, a study tour to the city of Nikko, located in Tochigi Prefecture, and a visit to an elementary school in Fuchu City. Through those experiences, the students are expected to learn about Japanese language and culture.
