TUFS Concludes Comprehensive Partnership Agreement with Nippon Sport Science University

On February 18th, TUFS signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Nippon Sport Science University.
The signing ceremony took place at Nippon Sport Science University. TUFS president Tateishi and Nippon Sport Science University president Tanigama signed the agreement. Atsuyuki Asano,the section chief of the Olympics and Paralympic games section, the Sport Promotion Division, Sports and Youth Bureau, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and faculty members from both universities attended the event.
This agreement aims at utilizing the educational and human resources of the two universities by taking advantage of their strengths, and complementing each other. In anticipation of the 2020 Summer Olympics, the two universities are expected to expand their cooperation to offer “Omotenashi (hospitality).” Also, in the long-term, TUFS and Nippon Sport Science University will cooperate in teaching TUFS students who want to be interpreters technical knowledge on sports, and educating students to be top athletes and leaders who will play active roles in developing countries.
