Portuguese Ambassador Visits TUFS

On February 20th, His Excellency Mr. Francisco Manuel da Fonseca XAVIER ESTEVES paid a courtesy call on TUFS president Tateishi. Mr. Francisco XAVIER ESTEVES is the newly-appointed Portuguese ambassador to Japan.

Professor Naotoshi Kurosawa and professor Chika Takeda (Portuguese studies) participated in a meeting after the courtesy call. In the meeting, they talked about strengthening the relationship between the two countries, and also relations with the Republic of Mozambique, where Portuguese is spoken.
