TUFS Global Community Meetings Held in London and Paris
March 20, 2015
TUFS Global Community Meetings took place on January 30th in Paris, and on the following day in London.
TUFS Global Community Meeting is part of the TUFS Global Community Project which is organized by the TUFS Office for International Academic Strategy(OFIAS). The meeting aims at developing a network between TUFS faculty members, graduates, and current students and also supporting current students who want to study abroad.
This was the fourth time the meeting was held in Paris, and the third time in London. Yasuhisa Kanaguchi, an executive director, Yasushi Hasegawa, the administrative director of Tokyo Gaigokai (literally, the Tokyo Foreign Language Society), TUFS current students studying in those two cities, and graduates from a variety of institutions such as local companies attended the meeting. Participants enjoyed the meetings in a friendly atmosphere. They introduced themselves, and talked about the current status and future perspectives of Tokyo Gaigokai.
Current students asked graduates for advice, exchanged information and had an interactive and fervent question-and-answer session about TUFS's future, making the meetings vibrant.
