TUFS Students Attend Ceremony in the Run-up to "10th Nikkei Inc. Japanese Speech Contest for Students in China"

On Monday, July 20th, a networking event which preceded the “10th Nikkei Inc. Japanese Speech Contest for Students in China” (Hosts: Nikkei Inc., China Education Association for International Exchange, and the Society of Chinese Professors in Japan) took place organized by TUFS students in cooperation with employees of the Nikkei Shimbun. 16 entrants, who successfully won preliminary contests held in China with a total of 7400 entries, participated in the final contest, where TUFS president Tateishi served as the chief judge.
Three TUFS students including Akane Aizawa (Sophomore, East Asian Area Studies major, School of International and Area Studies) helped to organize this preceding event. They promoted friendship between Chinese participants and TUFS students.
