MEXT Scholarship Students Participate in Field Trip

On October 9th, MEXT scholarship students entered TUFS this autumn, including research students, teacher training students, and Japanese studies students took part in the field trip to Hachioji city. This filed trip was conducted as a part of a class of the Japanese Language Center for International Students.

They visited the Hachioji Yume Art Museum and saw a special exhibition, “Ukiyoe during the Late Tokugawa Shogunate and the Meiji Era---Showing from the Classic to Westernizing Japan---”.

Through the exhibition, the MEXT students learned Japanese history and Japanese perspectives. They also went to the Hachioji Used Book Festival and enjoyed searching for research materials
