TUFS Students Win Top Prizes in the Japan Malay Speech Contest

On Saturday, December 5th, the Japan Malay Speech Contest took place at the ASEAN-Japan Centre. The competition was hosted by the Japan-Malaysia Association in cooperation with the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan and Tourism Malaysia.
Hatsune Yanai (Junior, School of Languages and Cultures) placed first, Kana Yamazaki (Junior, School of Languages and Cultures) second, and Mizuki Hori (Junior, School of Languages and Cultures) placed third. The students dominated the prizes, making for another strong showing by TUFS.
Hatsune Yanai will represent Japan at the International Speech Competition in Malay, Prime Minister's Cup next year.
