December 18, 2015
On Friday, December 11, 25 students from the University of the South Pacific, invited for an exchange program called “JENESYS2015” sponsored by the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs, visited TUFS.
The students are from Fiji, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. They attended the following workshops at TUFS:
1. Presentation on studying abroad in Japan delivered by 3 international TUFS students
2. HAIKU Workshop by Assoc. Prof. Rie Suganaga
3. Japanese Traditional Music Workshop by Prof. David Hughes
It was the first time for most of them to experience Japanese language and culture, but they enthusiastically took part in the workshops. After the workshops, as an expression of gratitude to TUFS, they gave a splendid performance.
Photos and videos have been added to the following Facebook page of JOCA, which conducted the program.
