The Series of Lectures of Southern African Development Community (SADC) Has Started

TUFS provides the series of lectures of Southern African Development Community (SADC) every fall quarter. Speakers from 12 embassies among SADC are invited to give a lecture in English on their history and future prospects, economy, culture, and relationship with Japan. It will be the 4

time this year.
The series of lectures 2015 started on Wednesday, October 14
th
, and the first lecturer was Mr. Lloyd Sithole, Counsellor, from the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Japan. Students had active discussion about Zimbabwe with the counsellor.
This series of lectures is held as a required subject for first-year undergraduates majoring in Africa.To promote exchange between Japan and Southern African Countries, the lectures are also open to TUFS students and faculty members without registration.
