On the 19th of March 2016 (Sat), as part of the series of lectures for citizens “Life in Modern Society-the world that people are living in and have lived” co-sponsored by the Yomiuri Shimbun Tachikawa bureau, the 11th lecture in the series titled “Connecting the lives of others to your own, Masao Yamaguchi and cultural anthropology” (Lecturer: Prof. Ichiro Mashima) was held in the Prometheus Hall at TUFS.
On the day, despite the rain many people attended and listened intently to the lecture.
This was the final lecture in the series of lectures for citizens which begun last April.
The Yomiuri Shimbun Tachikawa bureau co-hosts and conducts the series of lectures for citizens every year with universities in the Tama region, for the 2016 academic year, they will be held at the University of Electro-Communications with the theme “Advanced technology of the 21st century widening the future, a message from integrated communication science”.
