Visit to TUFS by the Director of Japanese Studies Center, Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University on 30th June

On Thursday 30 ^th June 2016, Saranya Kongjit, director of the Japanese Studies Center, Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, as well as Deputy Director Masayuki Nishida made a visit to TUFS and had an informal discussion with Vice President Kobayashi.

Joining the discussion were Prof. Hagio (President's Task Force/ International Affairs); Prof. Sakamoto, Vice Director of the International Center for Japanese Studies; Prof. Miyata of Thai; Prof. Sunisa Sittayapanyanon; and Mr. Kosit Tiptiempong, lecturer, who exchanged ideas to further deepen their collaborative relationship from here on.

Ever since we entered into the international strategies agreement in December 2014, Chiang Mai University and TUFS have maintained an active exchange through means such as student exchanges. It is hoped that ties will be strengthened from here on.
