Film Director from Myanmar Participates in Documentary Film Screening on June 29th

On the 29th of June 2016 (Wed), a film Director was invited to TUFS to participate in a TUFS Cinema Documentary film screening (Sponsored by: Institute for Transcultural Studies, Burmese Language Class). The film was titled "Dreams of Dutiful Daughters" and is a documentary about a female laborer from Myanmar working in Thailand to support her family. After the screening, there was a question and answer session with the director, Dr. Ma Khin Mar Mar Kyi, and there were many lively remarks from the students who participated.
Following this they moved locations to the Burmese Language room where the Director held a talk session with the students.
