Vice President of Shanghai Foreign Studies University (China) Visits TUFS on April 27th

On the 27th of April 2016 (Wed), Prof. Jing Wang, Vice Chair of the University Council, Prof. Cihui Xu, Dean, School of Japanese Studies and Prof. Zhang Xuemei, Director, Office of Confucius Institutes from Shanghai Foreign Studies University visited TUFS and held a conference with Prof. Hayashi, Executive Director / Vice President (for General, and Education) of TUFS. Other attendees of the conference included Prof. Minoru Iwasaki, Executive Director / Vice President (for Personnel, and Research), Prof. Yukari Sawada and Associate Prof. Ryuko Taniguchi.
TUFS and Shanghai Foreign Studies University have carried out various exchanges ever since the conclusion of an international academic exchange agreement between the two universities in June 1989. Every year starting in 2006, Japanese language education teacher training is conducted at Shanghai Foreign Studies University and in April 2015 TUFS Global Japan Office was opened inside the campus of Shanghai Foreign Studies University.
