Dear colleagues and friends of Birzeit University

All the members of our university community are deeply concerned that many civilians are becoming the victims of the violent attacks in Gaza by the Israeli military following attacks by Hamas.

We deeply sympathize with the worry, pain, and anger of all the colleagues and students studying at Birzeit University on the West Bank, with which we have a long history of exchanging students.

We sincerely hope and pray for your safety, a ceasefire, and peace. We are determined to do what we can to support you.
