Public Announcement

In accordance with Article 4 of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) Regulations on the Selection and Termination Procedures for the Position of University President, the University will be inviting nominations for potential candidates for the next university president to serve as the successor to the current president whose term will end on March 31, 2025. The appointed period of the next university president will be from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2029.

  1. Nomination Period
    Friday, 23 August 2024 – Friday, 6 September 2024 (Excluding weekends), between the hours of 10:00am to 5:00pm.
  2. Submission Method
    A Letter of Recommendation (prescribed form), a Reason for Recommendation (any format), Curriculum Vitae and List of Achievements must be submitted. In accordance with paragraph 4, Article 4 of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) Regulations on the Selection and Termination Procedures for the Position of University President, two or more nominators are required.
  3. Submission Location
    Division Chief, General Affairs and Planning Division, Administration Building 4F
