TUFS Associate Professor Awarded Encouragement Award at Japan Society of Publishing Studies Awards

TUFS Associate Professor TATSUMI Yukiko (Institute of Global Studies) was awarded an Encouragement Award at the 41st Japan Society of Publishing Studies Awards for her book, “The Tsar and the Masses: A Social History of Reading in Modern Russia” (University of Tokyo Press, Jan 2019).
The Japan Society of Publishing Studies Awards was established to award books and essays based on research and research areas. This year, pieces published between January 1 2019 and December 31 2019 were judged, after which two Japan Society of Publishing Studies Awards, two Encouragement Awards, and one Special Award, were bestowed.

This book is a study on the history of publishing in Russia. I am very grateful for those who have taken an interest in this topic.
