Assistant Professor Kumakura Wakako Wins 26th Collegium Mediterranistarum Herend Prize

Assistant Professor KUMAKURA Wakako has won the 26th Collegium Mediterranistarum Herend Prize for her published book Chusei ejiputo no tochiseido to nairu kangai (The land system in medieval Egypt and Nile irrigation). Ms. Kumakura is affiliated to the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa.
The Collegium Mediterranistarum awards this prize to outstanding research on Mediterranean culture conducted by young scholars.
