Professor Norihiro Naganawa received the 18th Japan Academy Medal

Professor Norihiro NAGANAWA (ILCAA, Slavic Eurasian Research Center, Hokkaido University) was awarded the 18th Japan Academy Medal.

The following research achievements were awarded:
Explorations in Entanglements of Russia's Empire and the Muslim World

The Japan Academy Medal was established in 2004 as the most prestigious academic award with the aim of honouring young researchers and encouraging their future research.
