Lecturer Nara Oda's book "The Making of 'Traditional Medicine': A History of Vietnam's Medical Policies"（Kyoto University Press, 2022) won the 21st The Japan Society for Southeast Asian Studies Award (JSSEAS Award), which was awarded on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the 105th Annual Meeting of the Southeast Asian Studies Association of Japan.
