TUFS Student Awarded JCCI Chairman’s Award at Eiken

On Friday the 29th of March, TUFS student Sakurako Wada (School of Language and Culture Studies, English language studies) was awarded The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman’s Award (first place in second stage) for her efforts in the Eiken Foundation of Japan’s Eiken Test in Practical English Proficiency (Eiken).
This award is given to those who achieved excellent results in the Eiken, or those who have actively contributed towards the English language education at their respective schools or organizations. In addition to passing grade 1 of the Eiken, Ms. Wada received this award.

While grade 1 seemed so far away when I entered university, I was able to receive this award thanks to the training I was given in my classes. Without sounding too conceited, I now want to move on to the next step. Thank you very much.
