TUFS Nikkei International Student Featured on Prime Minister’s Office of Japan Official YouTube Channel

On Tuesday the second of July, a video for the “Prime Minister’s Office of Japan”, the official YouTube channel of the prime minister’s official residence, was filmed at TUFS, and a Nikkei (“of Japanese descent”) international student from Mexico, Kiyomi Kawasaki Salvador (Japanese Studies Program), was interviewed.
This video introduces Nikkei individuals active in Latin America and Japan, and the various exchanges happening between the two regions.
The interview was conducted in Spanish and Japanese, and covered a range of topics including why Salvador chose to study abroad, what she cherishes as a Nikkei person and her life at TUFS. The video itself has been released in Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese and English.
