Kendo Club Wins Prize at Fuchu Citizen's Fall Kendo Tournament

On November 3, 2023, the Fuchu Kendo Club won first place in both the individual and team competitions at the Fuchu Citizens' Fall Kendo Tournament held at the Kyodonomori Gymnasium in Fuchu City, Tokyo.

We were runner-up in the men's team and third in the women's team at the Fuchu Citizens' Tournament, which we have participated in every year, and it was a good opportunity to demonstrate the results of our daily training. Although the men's team did not win the championship for the second year in a row, following last year's team championship, they were able to give it their all. The women's team was able to finish in third place, as they did last year. However, both the men's and women's teams had many issues to work on as a team, and I believe that it was a learning experience for both teams. All members of the team will continue to train hard so that we can continue to play well in official tournaments in the future.
