Students Participate in Japanese Subtitle Translation - Slovenian Film Screening Held

On Thursday, July 18, 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Japan, in cooperation with TUFS, hosted an online screening of the Slovenian film ��Vesna��.

��Vesna�� is the first Slovenian romantic comedy directed by Czech-born Franti?ek ?ap in 1953. The film was screened in seven countries outside of the Former Republic of Yugoslavia and was dubbed into German and Serbian-Croatian.

For the screening of the film, four TUFS students and one TUFS graduate participated in the translation of the Japanese subtitles under the guidance of Vesna Bukovec, part-time lecturer and TUFS Open Academy instructor, and Miriam ?uk Moishi, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Japan.
