TUFS student wins award at the 6th Xavier Cup Japanese Speech Contest.

On Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at the 6th Xavier Cup Japanese Speech Contest (hosted by Sophia University's Sophia Society) held at Sophia University, TUFS student Ms. Suu Yadanar (School of Japan Studies) won third place.

It was a very valuable opportunity for international students from various countries around the world to gather in Japan and give speeches. Coming to Japan from my home country, where the political situation is unstable and there is ongoing war, and being able to study abroad was a truly special opportunity for me. By making the most of that opportunity, I was able to experience a world where I could freely dream, and I was able to give a speech based on that valuable experience.
