TUFS Short Stay Summer Program Comes to an End
September 12, 2018
On Wednesday the 8th of August, the Short Stay Summer Program, which began on Monday the 23rd of July, came to an end, and students from various countries in North America, Europe, North Africa and Asia were awarded with course completion certificates.
Through this program, many activities are held for the participating exchange students such as Japanese language classes, Japanese culture classes, interactive classes with TUFS undergraduate students, and extramural courses. Thanks to the ‘International Student Support Association’, we were also able to hold events in which the students were able to try on yukata and participate in flower arranging, tea ceremony and calligraphy classes. There were also events organized by TUFS undergraduate students. Many of the exchange students participated in these events, and thus were able to experience traditional Japanese culture and interact with Japanese students.
