During his Presidency, Mr. Tateishi worked as a partner of President Kim in the launch of "The Consortium for Asian Universities of Foreign Studies" and the creation of "Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN)". In addition, we have invited three researchers from HUFS to our Japanese Studies Unit. In recognition of these achievements, Mr. Tateishi was awarded with an honorary degree.

The awarding of this honorary degree is expected to further build a cooperative relationship between the two universities.
