Consul of Jordan Visits TUFS

On Monday the 27th of January, the consul of the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Japan, Mr. Talal MASARWEH visited TUFS and met with Vice President MATSUKUMA Jun. This meeting was also attended by Professor AOYAMA Hiroyuki (Institute of Global Studies) and Lecturer MIYOKAWA Hiroko (World Language and Society Education Centre).

At the meeting, Mr. MASARWEH was very interested in how Gaigosai, our annual university festival held every autumn, introduces visitors to food from various countries and regions, and proposed holding an event to promote Jordanian culture. Future cooperation with Jordanian universities was discussed, and TUFS pledged to further develop academic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
