Indonesian Diplomats and Officials Visit TUFS

On Monday the 3rd of February, a group of 20 Indonesian diplomats and administrative officials visited TUFS and met with TUFS students majoring in Indonesian language.

Starting off the meeting, TUFS Vice President MATSUKUMA Jun gave a welcoming address, after which Associate Professor FURIHATA Masashi (Institute of Global Studies) gave an introduction to Indonesian language education at TUFS. Following this, the group from Indonesia and the TUFS students were divided into small groups in which they held group discussions.

The group from Indonesia were invited to Japan as part of the Japan-East Asian Network for Exchange Students and Foreign Youths (JENESYS) program, "JENESYS 2019" (hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and visited TUFS to learn about international understanding.
