Members of the Czech Republic Parliament Visit TUFS

On Monday, April 24, 2023, six members of the House of Parliament of the Czech Republic, including Deputy Speaker Jan Bartosek, along with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan and two others, paid a courtesy visit to President Kayoko Hayashi.

They were welcomed by Vice President/Professor Taku Shinohara, Professor Kumiko Kanazashi, and Associate Professor Bruna Gebharver, all of whom are in charge of Czech language studies. In the meeting, discussions focused on TUFS�� history, education, and mission, and exchanges with the Czech Republic. Afterwards, the visitors interacted with students and faculty members studying the Czech language at TUFS.

It is hoped that this visit will serve as a springboard for more active exchange between the Czech Republic and TUFS.
