July Closing Ceremony and Celebration held for Nikkensei and ISEP Students

On Friday the 14th of July, TUFS held the July 2023 Closing Ceremony and Celebration for exchange students studying at TUFS through the Japanese Studies Program (Nikkensei Program) and the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP).

Around half of the 216 finishing students (192 ISEP students, 24 Nikkensei students) attended, and Vice President Haruna gave the congratulatory address. Following this, the students were joined by their professors and Japanese language buddies for a celebratory gathering. A speech was also given by the president of the International Student Support Association of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies(TUFS-ISSA), and after toasting to their success, short speeches were given by finishing students, which was then followed by a dance performance by both finishing and current students. The occasion ended with high spirits.
