TUFS Global Community Meeting Held in Melbourne

The TUFS Global Community Meeting was held in Melbourne, Australia on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. This was the first time the meeting was held in Australia since 2018.

The meeting is part of the TUFS Global Community Project, which aims to build networks between TUFS faculty and staff and alumni, and to support current students studying abroad.

The event was attended by a total of 12 people, Vice President Nobuo Haruna and Professor Philip Seaton, who visited Australia for the signing ceremony at the University of Melbourne, TUFS' Melbourne Global Japan Office (GJO) staff, current students studying in Australia, alumni of the Tokyo Gaikokai Sydney Branch and other local organizations.

The students enjoyed hearing valuable stories from their seniors and were encouraged in their future study abroad activities. The meeting was also an opportunity for TUFS to further deepen its network in Australia through intergenerational exchange. It is hoped that this meeting will be an opportunity for TUFS to further expand its network in Australia.
