International Hindi Conference Held

The International Hindi Conference was held from February 2nd (Friday) to February 4th (Sunday), 2024, jointly hosted by the Department of Hindi at TUFS (faculty in charge: Professor Yoshifumi MIZUNO, Lecturer Kyosuke ADACHI, and Associate Professor Suraj PARKASH) and the Embassy of India in Japan.

On February 2nd, an opening ceremony was held at the Indian Embassy, where a cultural program was held and President Kayoko HAYASHI and other members of the university's executive committee exchanged views with the Indian Embassy on study abroad programs and other issues.

On February 3rd and 4th, research reports were presented at the TUFS Fuchu Campus, and active discussions were held on the current status and issues of Hindi language education in India, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and other Asian countries.
