TUFS students visit the Polish Embassy in Japan

On Friday, February 7th, 2025, a group of TUFS students majoring in Polish and Polish students studying at TUFS visited the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Japan. This visit was made at the enthusiastic invitation of H.E. Mr. Pawel MILEWSKI, who visited the school as a guest at the Gaigosai Festival last year and was impressed by the Polish food stall and Polish language play put on by the students.

First, Ambassador Milewski gave a welcome speech, followed by a presentation on Poland given by Third Secretary Julia Cichy. At the Ambassador's suggestion, this event was also a New Year's party for Japan, and two of Poland's most famous sweets, charlotka (apple cake) and sernik (cheese cake), were served, and books about Polish cuisine and other presents were also given out. The Ambassador also actively engaged in conversation with the students, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly throughout.
