TUFS Global Community Meeting held in New York

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, the TUFS Global Community Meeting* was held in New York City, USA. This meeting was held as part of the 2024 winter semester's Global Liberal Arts Course “United Nations Training Program”, which saw students visit New York from February 2 to 8 (returning on the 9th), and participate in training at the United Nations Headquarters and related organizations (commonly known as the “UN Study Tour”). In addition to the students and faculty who participated in the program, a total of 34 people attended, including graduates of the New York branch of the Tokyo Gaikokai, the alumni association of TUFS that is active in companies and organizations in New York City and the surrounding area. TUFS Professor Jun Matsukuma, who teaches international law, also attended.
*The TUFS Global Community Meetings are held when faculty and staff travel in Japan and overseas, with the aim of building networks between graduates and current students, and supporting current students studying abroad.
