Hello from Mingao Kitchen. Why not stop by the university cafe and try some dishes you rarely get to taste? Mingao-Kitchen, a TUFS volunteer organization, uses cuisine to promote understanding of refugees in Japan.

Now, three ethnic dishes are available: nanjito (Burmese noodles with soybean flour), colorful salad, and spicy chicken stir fry. Those are cuisines from Myanmmar, Azerbaijan, and Sri Lanka. Information about those regions and ethnic groups can be found in front of the cafe.
Pop in and try some!!
This project made possible by support from the TUFS Co-op.

【What's “Mingao Kitchen"? 】

Its name is a compound of Minna no egao, meaning “everyone's smile” in Japanese, and “mingaraba,” Burmese for “hello”. The group hopes to make everyone to smile with food.
