We are happy to announce the third instalment of the Movie Town Chofu Walking Tour with the kind cooperation of Chofu City and its movie-related companies under the Mutual Friendship Cooperation Agreement between TUFS and Chofu. The themes of this year are Chofu��s history as ��Movie Town�� and the industrial and technological changes from past to present. We will study and experience a part of our film history through walking and listening to the guide��s explanations about the origin and changes of the Chofu film industry and its conversion from interwar to postwar. We will also learn about digitization and film preservation from the pros at Tokyo Laboratory.

Participation Fee

Free, but you have to pay for your own expenses (transportation, lunch, insurance* etc.)
1. Please provide proof of accident and personal liability insurances. (usually, students will have joined an insurance upon entering university)
2. * If you do not have the above insurances, you must inform us, and we will enroll you in the appropriate, one-time insurance (about 100 yen).
