[Canceled] 2019 Academic Year Graduation & Award Ceremony
update: March 6, 2020
To All Students Graduating This Spring,
Tokyo University of Foreign Studies was scheduled to hold the fiscal 2019 graduation and degree conferment ceremony at the Prometheus Hall on March 25, 2020, but the spread of the new coronavirus infection has not stopped, and there is concern that the ceremony will become a site of infection. At this important time when you will be embarking on a new life as a member of society starting in April, we have with much regret decided to postpone the ceremonies. We realize how much you were looking forward to this day and ask for your understanding.
Parents:
We have made this decision with an abundance of caution and are sorry that you will not be able to see your children commemorate the completion of their studies at TUFS.
Kayoko Hayashi,
President of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies
