On July 24, we visited IPO (International Programmes Office) at the University of Ghana (UG) and met Mr. Daniel Hormeku, Assistant Registrar of IPO, to discuss the student exchange between UG and TUFS.

In the afternoon, we have been to the Embassy of Japan in Accra to meet Mr. Shigeru Umetsu (Deputy Head of Embassy) and Mr. Yuki Yamashita (First Secretary) of the office, and discussed a way to promote the student exchange.

On July 25, we visited ORID (Office of Research, Innovation & Development) and IAS (Institute of African Studies) at UG. We met Prof. George Obeng Adjei and Mrs. Afua Yeboah at ORID. And at IAS, Prof. Dzodzi Tsikata (Director), Dr. Nanbigne Edward, Dr. Alhassan Osman, and Dr. Stephen Acheampong welcomed us. Exploring the possibility of joint research between UG and TUFS, discussions were very fruitful.

At last, we had a talk with Mr. Norihito Yonebayashi (Senior Representative) and Mr. Taro Kakehashi of the JICA Ghana office in Accra.
