Reasonable Accommodations for Classes and Examinations

Based on the Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Act No.65 of 2013), our university provides reasonable accommodations in the event that a student with a disability would be at a disadvantage during classes or examinations.

Reasonable accommodations are measures taken by the university to ensure that the university fosters an environment in which all students, regardless of physical or mental disabilities, can access the same level of education, to the extent that it does not place an excessive burden on the university.

If you wish to receive reasonable accommodations for classes or examinations, please check the following link (in Japanese) for further information and to confirm the details. Please pick up a “Reasonable Accommodations Application Form” (合理的配慮申請用紙) from the Educational Affairs Division, and submit this application form along with the required documents to the Educational Affairs Division by 4:30 p.m, (Fri) 19 April, 2024. Please note that you will need a medical certificate, so please prepare one in advance.
